NRA First Steps Rifle Orientation


Designed to teach new and beginning shotgun shooters a hands on thorough introduction of rifle safety, handling, proper loading and unloading and the necessary skills to break straight away targets. This course is designed to educate the shooter to a specific shotgun model, any gauge, preferably the participants. If a student wishes to take the class and has not yet purchased a shotgun, one will provided at class time. The price for this course includes: NRA student packet, range fees (if any), clay target thrower and clay targets. Student to provide: Shotgun, minimum 50 rounds of shotgun ammunition #7 1/2 or #8 shot, owners manual, eye and ear protection, cleaning kit and storage case. This course needs to be set up in advance as student materials must come from the NRA headquarters.

The cost for this course is $125 per person. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required.
